For the competition Organic Design in Home Furnishings held by the Museum of Modern Art Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen designed the Organic Chair in several versions. The designs were ahead of their time but never went into production owing to a lack of technology. Today the Organic Chair is available in three versions. The extremely comfortable chair makes an excellent little reading armchair.
