Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955, the Series 7™ is the best-selling chair in Fritz Hansen’s collection — and one of the most recognisable pieces of furniture ever made. The 3107 is the original four-leg configuration: nine layers of pressure-moulded veneer, slim 14mm steel tube legs, and a form that remains as resolved today as it was seventy years ago.
The 7:14 AM Colour Edition takes its name from the quality of light in Denmark at that precise moment on an early autumn morning — soft, cool, and atmospheric. Five shell colours — Green, Beige, Pink, Violet, and Blue — are rendered as gentle wash-tones that sit quietly in a room without demanding attention. Designed to work with each other and with the broader Fritz Hansen palette, they bring a distinctly Nordic character to the chair.
Two base options are available. The Rainbow base is crafted from semi-recycled steel, welded and finished with a zinc chromate coating that creates a transparent golden iridescence — durable, and developing a unique patina over time. The Chrome base offers a cleaner, more classic contrast to the soft shell colours.
Available in five colourways with Rainbow base, and five with Chrome base.
